Hi! My name is Marissa Crystina, and I am a born and bred Pittsburgh native, a die hard Steelers fan, a Syracuse University Alum, and an LA transplant working in the television industry. If you ask my family, they’ll tell you that from the moment I started talking, I said I was moving to Los Angeles to work in TV. Growing up, I had no idea what working in television meant, but it was always on my heart to be a part of it in some capacity. What I’ve learned over the years is that my job is to focus on the vision that has been placed on my heart, and NOT to worry about what will happen in the middle. The in between is for Him to know, and us to discover through faith as He reveals it, while believing that everything will work out for our good. (Romans 8:28).

I received a Bachelor of Science in both Information Management and Technology (IT), and Television, Film and Radio. Although I knew I would receive a great salary working in IT, I chose to step out on faith and follow my calling, by moving to Los Angeles without yet having a job in the industry. During my college vacations I worked at Marshalls department store, and was able to transfer to a Marshalls in LA three months after graduation. From there, my Hollywood journey began, and my faith was expanded.

My goal is to share my experiences, shed light on circumstances I have encountered, and hopefully be a light into your life the way that God intends.  My walk has flaws, however I am striving to be better each and every day.
