Ever since I won a Vitamix (more on that here: Doubtless Seeds Planted, Wants and Needs Granted), I have become addicted to making smoothies. The process is pretty quick and easy, and the Vitamix tends to produce the perfect consistency for my drink. Well, one day I was making my smoothie, and although I could hear the blades rotating, the contents in the mixer did not appear to be blending. I could still see some yogurt, pieces of spinach, the fruit and the ice sitting on top of what had already been mixed in the bottom. I reached for the Vitamix to add a little pressure to the ice sitting at the top. Just as I was about to take off the lid, everything at the top of the mixer rotated to the bottom, and blended into pure perfection.
How often do we go to “help God out” because we can’t see anything happening, when He is already behind the scenes moving on our behalf? When we know we have done everything He needs us to do, we have to maintain our faith, knowing that whatever we are waiting for will come to fruition.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.
As the end of 2017 quickly approaches, I pray that you continue to have faith in your destiny, knowing that your life and your circumstances can change at any moment.
